Get your braid on....
because come summer you will be on braid overload. Braids were popular on the Springs 2010 runway, wispy, beautiful braids. Now I’m starting to see them on celebrities which frankly means it will become a huge trend. So if you love this to the side- pretty braid like I do, HURRY!

Obsess or Possess.
In yesterdays NYT Style section Chanel’s Particuliere was featured. The Particuliere has been selling out so quick that at times you can only find it on Ebay at a higher cost. It is quite luxe looking and frankly I can’t wait to wear this color on my nails, I almost NEVER wear color on my fingernails. Thankfully, for those heartbroken beauties out there the editor wrote about a...

When a sneaker and a moccasin meet....
this is the result. I know I love my moccasins and I am loyal to my converse but can I be converted ? Honestly, they look really comfortable and chic. Otte, who is carrying them has excellent taste and is smart to be selling them. I have a feeling that the sneaker moc may be the new boot clog.

Tommy.
Every fashion season during the shows I look forward to the postings of Tommy Ton’s pics of the fashion beauties running around Europe. His photos are inspiring and creative and inspire me to think out of the box when I have fallen into a clothing rut. Case in point, its hard to be in a rut when you have green leather gloves!

Rain, rain go away...
but since it looks like there may be a few rainy days ahead of us, especially for the L.A chicsters, here are some stylish cover ups. Extras: *If you live in California and need an umbrella right now! *If you are sick of the umbrellas that have “cutesy” patterns. *If you prefer to live your life in a bubble. *If you ONLY love cheerful and cutesy patterns.

I recently co-hosted a baby shower at Hotel Delmano. I made crostinis, cucumber tea sandwiches and Goldies(that were also served at my shower) for dessert….yum. The food went with the decor of the bar, yes a baby shower at a bar…if you have ever been to the Hotel Delmano you would know that it is more then a bar, most of my girlfriends love it because it reminds them of...

Leather Made
Suede and leather are going to be a big part of Spring and Summer. I love this faux suede skirt for it can be worn now with a chunky cream sweater, black ankle boots. Come warm weather- wear with a  button up shirt, stripe tee and chocolate leather sandals. Best part? Its under a $100.

Sultry & Shine
Who wouldn’t want hair that like this? When I first saw this photo on Garance’s blog I let out an “ooohhhh.” Besides having fab shoes paired with the perfect dress I wanted her hair! I have pretty good hair but my flat iron and the bitter cold takes a toll on it. While I was pregnant a friend of mine gave me this teeny sample of Moroccan Oil and the results were amazing....

Green Chic
H&M released a look-book of their Eco line The Garden Collection launching in March. The line is quite chic, an eclectic mix of vibrant floral and soft neutrals. A perfect juxtaposition for a Spring wardrobe.

French Beauty
It seems that French women have the talent of making just about anything chic, in this case this chicster has all the elements of cool style. Expect to see hats such as this come Spring, there is a 70’s vibe that I am frankly excited about since its that cool Lauren Hutton 70’s, a look that I can’t wait to wear. Whether you decide to do the whole flowy look, or just add a touch...

Neutral Territory
In an attempt to embrace a future of a warmer climate I found myself looking up some of my favorite runway shots from Celine. I love a good Boho look, its not a trend for me as you may have caught on from my Dancing with Wolves Post. Nevertheless, I love the aesthetic of a clean minimal look and Phoebe Philo nailed it with this collection. I am inspired to wear a crisp white shirt with a cognac...

Indian Winter
The temperature got up to 30 degrees today, warm compare to the 16/20 degrees of the last few days. I’m still cold and whenever I’m cold I drink a ton of hot chocolate and dress like an Indian. I’m talking Dancing With Wolves meets Brooklyn. I throw on the moccasins and wear the most coziest of my sweaters , which always have some kind of tribal feel to them. I even have baby...

Faux Sure
Winter is not even a month in and I’m wearing my puffer jacket more then I would like to. I need some inspiration, a faux vest is a stylish solution to what looks like is going to be a long winter. I have a few fauxs but they are all of the brown bunny kind, still stylish but I’m sick of them. I love this Elizabeth and James vest for it looks ultra soft and I could wear long sleeve...
