I have this thing for peacocks. They remind me of my childhood in Los Angeles. A group of them would fly over to my backyard and flock their feathers. They were quite loud, it was such a site -these beautiful birds just traipsing around our yard. For my wedding the colors of the peacock served as my color scheme- my loyal best friend purchased feathers as an “inspiration” while we schemed plan. I hope the feathers “fell” off the bird from which they came from. EEK.
One doesn’t have to be nostalgic for peacocks to adorn this House of Harlow 1960 necklace, it may not be as special as an ant necklace yet it is still divine.
It seems everywhere I turn this week I am seeing jeggings in many stylish forms. I do live in skinny jean central (Brooklyn) so this is not a hard trend to run into. Because I am being asked by many on how to wear these I am posting a blog I wrote on some jegging advice. Feel free to send me a note on what brands you may want to try.
Tuesday was a day of constant rain. Since the weather was so dreary I chose a deep purple Philip Lim Blouse I bought ages ago on sale at Barneys as a color to brighten up my mood. I preceded to run into no less then ten colleagues wearing this jewel tone hue yesterday, from silk dresses to tunics each one looked simply chic and lovely.
